I help many beginners who are trying to build their Internet business. Unfortunately, many beginners fall for the many scams targeting them. I'm going to cover some of the most common online scams beginners fall for.
1. Turnkey sites - These packages, although maybe not your typical online scam, are still not helpful to beginning online marketers. The reason is that these easy and quick sites are often not search engine friendly. Also, many of these sites usually have duplicate content problems. Beginners should stay away from these sites, and learn how to make SEO friendly web pages.
2. Link farming - Never fall for in anything that promises you many links from other sites. Never sign up for offers which say something like, $29.95 for 10,000 back links. That is a definite scam. And not only is it a scam, but it can also get you banned from Google!
3. Free ad sites Beginners often want to promote affiliate marketing offers on free ad sites. Free classified ads simply wont. |
